There's a specific kind of cold that F1 fans know.

It's not winter cold. It's the race weekend cold — the kind you feel sitting in a darkened room at 1 AM, laptop glowing, watching quali from Miami or Interlagos. The kind that sneaks up on you when you're deep into a 90-lap race that started at midnight and shows no signs of ending cleanly. You reach for something to throw on. And if you're anything like us, you've been reaching for a generic hoodie that has nothing to do with F1, quietly wishing there was something better.

And then there are occasions when you just want to throw on something warm and fashionable quickly and go out with friends, without spending 2 hours analysing your wardrobe choices.

That's the gap we set out to fill. The Turn1 sweatshirt collection exists for exactly these moments.

Why We Took Our Time With This

We launched Turn1 primarily with t-shirts and crop tops. Those were, in many ways, the easier brief. T-shirts have a fairly defined playbook — weight, print method, fit.

Sweatshirts are a different beast entirely. The weight has to be right — too light and it feels like you paid for something you didn't get, too heavy and you're uncomfortable after twenty minutes indoors. The fleece has to feel soft without feeling cheap. And unlike a t-shirt, a sweatshirt is worn over things, with things, worn more frequently but washed (relatively) less frequently — it has to hold its shape, its colour, and its print through multiple wear cycles.

We landed on 100% cotton, 320 GSM fleece. No polyester blend. Pure cotton. This is a deliberate choice — cotton breathes better, ages better, and for most Indian homes (which aren't air-conditioned at the same level as European apartments), a cotton-fleece sweatshirt is genuinely more comfortable than a poly-cotton alternative. It's heavier and noticeably more substantial than a typical t-shirt — and that heft is exactly what you want when you're watching a race in a chilly room.

We have started with a neutral cream colour, which ages well and works with almost anything. The cream colour also photographs beautifully — which matters when you're buying something you'll want to show off. We are working on introducing more colours in the collection.

A quick note: we get asked about hoodies too — for now, the collection is sweatshirts only, and we think once you feel the 320 GSM cotton fleece, you won't mind the missing drawstring. But we're working on bringing premium hoodies to Turn1 at the earliest.

Lewis Hamilton Scooter Sweatshirt

This one's personal.

There's a specific Lewis Hamilton internet moment that resonated far beyond the usual fan circle — a video of him zipping around the paddock on a scooter, effortlessly stylish, completely unbothered. It's very him. Seven Monaco victories between 2008 and 2019, more than any other active driver on the current grid. Undoubtedly the most successful driver of his generation when you look at the stats. And he's back in 2026 in Red (Ferrari) with one of the best runs in the initial part of the season compared to the previous 4 years.

The Hamilton Scooter sweatshirt captures that energy — paddock-coded, lifestyle-forward, very Lewis. For fans following his Ferrari chapter, this is the piece that doesn't feel like it's from any one season. It's timeless in the way Lewis himself has managed to be timeless.

Max Verstappen Attitude Sweatshirt

Max Verstappen has an unmistakable quality — a sense that he simply refuses to accept the situation he's been handed. Red Bull's 2026 car has struggled under the new regulations. Ford's power unit integration has been rocky. And yet, somehow, Verstappen keeps dragging results out of it. That's not driving. That's attitude.

Charles Leclerc Ferrari Sweatshirt

Of all the unresolved storylines in modern Formula 1, Charles Leclerc's relationship with a Ferrari World Championship might be the most emotionally loaded. He's been the fastest Ferrari driver on the grid for the better part of five seasons. He's won at Monaco — his home race — in 2024, ending a 23-year drought for the Scuderia at the Principality. And yet the title remains elusive.

The Leclerc Ferrari sweatshirt is for those fans. The ones who've been watching since 2019, who feel the weight of every near-miss, and who aren't giving up on Charles and the Scuderia. Leclerc-at-Ferrari is one of F1's great ongoing stories (especially with the latest contract extension) — and this sweatshirt wears that story quietly but unmistakably.
