Kimi Antonelli Is Writing History. Here's How to Wear It

Kimi Antonelli Mercedes F1 Driver | Formula 1

Nineteen years old. Five wins in a row. And a 66-point championship lead that's making the rest of the grid look like they're racing in a different series.

If you've been watching the 2026 Formula 1 season, you already know the name. But if you're new here — welcome, because you've walked in at exactly the right moment. Andrea Kimi Antonelli is having one of the most extraordinary starts to an F1 season in recent memory.

And at Turn1, we've got two tees built specifically for this moment.

Who Is Kimi Antonelli?

Born in Bologna on 25 August 2006 — yes, 2006 — Kimi Antonelli is the son of Marco Antonelli, a sportscar racer and founder of AKM Motorsport. So motorsport wasn't something that found him later in life. It was the air he grew up breathing.

He started karting at seven. By twelve, Mercedes had already spotted him and pulled him into their Junior Programme. He then proceeded to win everything in front of him — Italian F4, ADAC F4, Formula Regional European Championship, Formula Regional Middle East Championship — barely pausing between titles. When he moved to Formula 2 with Prema Racing in 2024, he skipped F3 entirely. Not because it was offered. Because Mercedes decided he didn't need it.

His first taste of an actual F1 car came at the 2024 Italian Grand Prix weekend at Monza, driving in FP1. He crashed. Spectacularly. Into the Parabolica. In front of his home crowd. It was the kind of moment that ends careers before they start — or becomes chapter one of a legendary one.

Toto Wolff didn't flinch. He announced Antonelli as Hamilton's replacement the very next morning.

The 2026 Season: A Teenager Running Away With the Championship

Replacing Lewis Hamilton at the Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS Formula One Team was never going to be subtle. But nobody expected this.

Antonelli started 2026 with a second place in Australia — steady, clean, no drama. Then in China, he took pole (youngest ever polesitter in F1 history, breaking a record Vettel had held since 2008) and won the race. It was the first Italian F1 winner since Giancarlo Fisichella in 2006. Then Japan — pole again, victory again. He became the youngest driver to ever lead the Drivers' Championship. Then Miami — pole, win, his third consecutive victory, joining Damon Hill and Mika Häkkinen as the only drivers to win their first race and immediately follow it up with two more. Both of those drivers went on to become World Champions, which is the kind of trivia you file away and come back to in November.

Canada was his fourth. Monaco — chaotic, red flags, standing restart, the full carnival — was his fifth. Five wins in six races. A 66-point gap at the top.

To put that in context: when Max Verstappen was this dominant, people said F1 was boring. The difference is Antonelli is nineteen, he's Italian, he's in only his second season, and he's doing it at Mercedes — the team that's supposed to be in a rebuilding phase. Nobody was scripting this.

The kid from Bologna who met Hamilton as a grid boy at Monza in 2018 is now beating Hamilton — currently second in the standings at Ferrari — on a near-weekly basis. That's a sentence.

The Turn1 Kimi Collection

We've had both these tees in the making for a while now — and between the time we designed them and now, Kimi's gone from "exciting prospect" to "genuine championship leader." Good timing, honestly.

You can browse the full Driver Series on Turn1 — but if Kimi is your guy right now, these are the two to know:

Kimi Antonelli Mercedes F1 Unisex Tee — ₹1,299

Kimi Antonelli Mercedes F1 Unisex Oversized T-shirt

This is the statement piece. 240GSM premium cotton, oversized unisex fit — the kind of tee you wear and immediately feel good in, not just because of what it says but how it sits. Relaxed through the shoulders, dropped hem, slightly boxy — it wears the way oversized is supposed to wear, not like a shirt two sizes too big.

The design centres on Kimi alongside the Mercedes W-series car and his racing number #12, with "Silver Arrows" in front print — a nod to Mercedes' identity that goes all the way back to the 1930s, when a German team stripped the white paint off their cars to get under the weight limit and raced in bare silver. The Silver Arrows nickname stuck. Eighty-plus years later, Antonelli is carrying it.

Available in Black and Off-White, sizes S to XXL. The off-white colourway has a quality to it that photographs particularly well — clean, understated, easy to style. Black is the classic.

This one's already a bestseller. Make of that what you will.

Kimi Antonelli Signature F1 Unisex T-Shirt — ₹1,099

The regular-fit option — 200–220GSM, structured silhouette, the kind of cut that works for everyday comfort wear without being boxy. XS through XXL in both Black and Off-White, and because it's unisex with a proper size range, it fits everyone.

Kimi Antonelli F1 Regular Fit T-shirt Turn1 India

The design on this one is built around Kimi's signature Shaka sign gesture — that easy, effortless "hang loose" move that he throws out after a race win like he's been doing this for twenty years. Which, to be fair, he kind of has — he's been racing since he was seven. But there's something about the gesture that captures everything you need to know about him right now: a teenager at the front of the grid, completely unbothered, making it look natural. It's a relaxed confidence that's earned, not performed. That's what the design captures.

The print quality is sharp, the fabric breathable, and the price sits well under ₹1,200 — which, for what you're getting, is genuinely good value.

Why Now?

Because the next few months of F1 are going to be about Kimi Antonelli. Whether he wins it, whether Russell fights back, whether Ferrari can mount a challenge — the 2026 season is shaping up to be one for the records. Following it in a tee that already knows the plot just hits different.

We've shipped to fans all over India — Bengaluru, Delhi NCR, Mumbai, Chennai. Free delivery, COD available. And if you want both tees, the code F1LOVE gets you 15% off when you buy any two products.
