When Lewis Hamilton won the 2026 Barcelona Grand Prix, his first win as a Ferrari driver, he posted the winning picture with just a 4 word caption - Remember Who You Are.

This is not a quote written by Lewis but he chose to use it, own it and really popularize it. How did Remember Who You Are got associated with the seven-time Formula 1 World Champion?

Let's rewind to the 2025 Hungary Grand Prix, one of the lowest, darkest moments of Lewis' career. Lewis ends up at 12th position in the Qualifying session and in the post Quali interview, he says, "I'm useless... Ferrari should get another driver"

These are the words of a 7-time F1 World Champion, considered the GOAT by millions of fans, all time record holder of most F1 wins who in that moment was completely devoid of confidence in his racing abilities.
